Watch The World

hi its colin o., i have seen other versions for watch the world and they're fine exept there's two guitars playing. tom wrote and recorded all the lyrics, guitar, and bass, but dave (the other guitarist) plays the dominant guitar live i think this is pretty good. (we''l call what dave plays live guitar 1 and what tom plays guitar 2) i kind of put the guitars in line to show when and what they're playing at the same time Intro e-------------------------------------------------------------- B-------------------------------------------------------------- G-4-44-44-44-6666-4-44-44-44-6666-4-44-44-44-6666-88-4-3-3-4444 GUITAR 1 D-4-44-44-44-6666-4-44-44-44-6666-4-44-44-44-6666-88-4-3-3-4444 distortion A-2-22-22-22-4444-2-22-22-22-4444-2-22-22-22-4444-66-2-1-1-2222 E-------------------------------------------------------------- e-------------------------------------------------------------- B-------------------------------------------------------------- G-4-44-44-44--------------------------------------------------- -GUITAR 2 D-4-44-44-44------4-44-44-44------2-22-22-22------------------ distortion A-2-22-22-22------4-44-44-44------2-22-22-22------------------- E-----------------2-22-22-22------0-00-00-00------------------- Verse(every time you play "2" on the high e string, let it ring just a bit) e-----2-------2-------2-------2--- B---0-------0-------0-------0----- G--------------------------------- -GUITAR 1 (distortion) D--------------------------------- A-2-------2-------2-------2------- E--------------------------------- e--------------------------------- B--------------------------------- G-4-4-4--------------------------- -GUITAR 2 (distortion) D-4-4-4---4-4-4---2-2-2---2-2-2--- -after you play three of the A-2-2-2---4-4-4---2-2-2---2-2-2--- same chords, let it ring the E---------2-2-2---0-0-0---0-0-0--- same amount of time a the "2" on the high e string for guitar 1 Chorus e----------------------------------------------------------------- B----------------------------------------------------------------- G-4-44-44-44-4444-4-44-44-44-4444-4-44-44-44-4444-4-44-44-44-4444- -GUITAR 1 D-4-44-44-44-4444-4-44-44-44-4444-4-44-44-44-4444-4-44-44-44-4444- (distortion) A-2-22-22-22-2222-2-22-22-22-2222-2-22-22-22-2222-2-22-22-22-2222- E----------------------------------------------------------------- e----------------------------------------------------------------- B----------------------------------------------------------------- G-4-44-44-44-4444------------------------------------------------- -GUITAR 2 D-4-44-44-44-4444-4-44-44-44-4444-2-22-22-22-2222-2-22-22-22-2222- (distortion) A-2-22-22-22-2222-4-44-44-44-4444-2-22-22-22-2222-2-22-22-22-2222- E-----------------2-22-22-22-2222-0-00-00-00-0000-0-00-00-00-0000- Interlude Part 1 e------------------------------------------ B------------------------------------------ G---------8-------------------9------------ -GUITAR 1 (Heavy Distortion) D-9-99-99-8-8---------9-99-99-9-8---------- A-9-99-99-6-8---------9-99-99-7-8---------- E-7-77-77---6---------7-77-77---6---------- e------------------------------------------ B------------------------------------------ G-9-99-99-99-99999999-9-99-99-99-99999999- -GUITAR 2 (clean and quiet behind D-9-99-99-99-99999999-9-99-99-99-99999999- guitar 1 but when A-7-77-77-77-77777777-7-77-77-77-77777777- guitar 1 pauses E----------------------------------------- you'll hear it) Interlude Part 2 e------------------------- B-------2-----------2----- G-4---4---4---4---4---4--- -GUITAR 1 (Clean) D---4-------4---4-------4- A------------------------- E------------------------- e--------------------------------- B--------------------------------- G-8-88-88-88-8888-9-99-99-99-9999- -GUITAR 2 (clean, somewhat fast D-8-88-88-88-8888-9-99-99-99-9999- strumming A-6-66-66-66-6666-7-77-77-77-7777- E--------------------------------- Well thats all the solo may need a little work. at the end he does some freaky bending stuff which isn't worth or even trying to tab Order: Intro____________ x2 Verse____________ x4 Intro_____________ x1 Verse____________ x4 Chorus____________ x3 Bridge part 1______x1 Bridge part 2______x4 Chorus_____________x4 (During this you play guitar 1 for the verse) Intro______________x2 I know u didn't come for the lyrics but I'll add them in anyways I watched the smoke As it grew darker And blew up through the roof I watched the fed And saw them panic As the fire grew I saw Virginia Get rid of Langley And its secrets, too I held your hand And sat there knowing That we'd make it through I saw this man Dispose of hunger And soap operas, too I saw this field That grew perfection Full of things you do I saw this box Get rid of heartache And cure cancer, too When I awoke I sat there hoping This is what we'll do If we can We will leave A letter and this song For you And we'll write Once a day And put it through the sea To you We'll regret All those things we thought of but didn't ever do If we can We will leave A letter and this song For you And we'll write Once a day And put it through the sea To you We'll regret All those things we thought of but didn't ever do When the sky Seems too clear Who will then be left But a few Me and you
